​​​THE ETHICAL RICE FOR FOODBANKS CAMPAIGN
Yes my fellow kin. The world needs us as we all must do our part.
In order to do my part, I have teamed up with The Balmore Trust and The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network, and I hope that you will join me. I will be raising funds to purchase ethically produced rice from farmers who have adopted sustainable farming methods in Africa Projects which help to give a real quality of life by providing help with distributing fairly traded ‘Just Trading’ Produce to people within Scotland and abroad. A minimum donation of only £3 (€4) will supply a 1kg bag of fairly traded rice to one of the 400 Trussell Trust Foodbanks in the UK. These foodbanks will be supplied with the rice bought via The Trussell Trust and many poor, poverty stricken, hungry, destitute, homeless and low income people and families who will be fed with rice which will also be sourced from farmers whose families will also benefit. It is a 360 degree effort of loving assistance to our brothers and sisters. Please join in and help.
