RM007 - SOOM T AND MONKEY MARC - BULLETS OVER BABYLON
RENEGADE MASTERS RECORDS - 04/2015
The long awaited instant underground classic Bullets Over Babylon produced by the infamous Monkey Marc Released on our very own Renegade Masters. Diggin deep into the underbelly of the bass loving classes, it wanders into dark territory with unmistakable homage to Cypress Hill of the early 90's whilst notching up the atmospheric slant of 50's Jazz that holds for the majority letting it occasionally course into uncharted rage infused confusery. Supported by instrumental waves of adherence to the underlying moral code of the presumptive listener by providing aid to bring metaphoric evaluation into clearer view.

RM005 - SOOM T - OUR WORLD
RENEGADE MASTERS RECORDS - 04/2013
An ever strong missile by the Renegade Squadron that aims at the roots oriented reggae head directing into the ear canal to sooth and uplift the post war commercial battleground in a style reminiscent of 50’s jazz approaching an unmistakable blend of early Wackie’s colliding with Aretha on a laid back sweet treat highway in Autumn. A sweet collaboration between Soom T Glasgow, and the Dub Master from near Napoli, now based in Barcelona, ‘Dub Master’ recorded an 8 piece band to create the perfect backdrop to this spectacular bit of work with the usual love from Soom T, the Renegade Commander delivering direct from the source. The eternal quality of this one will prove to be just that, a timeless masterpiece you’ll find yourself rewinding time and time again.

SCOB0037 - MUNGO'S HI-FI FEAT SOOM T - BONG BONG EP
SCOTCH BONNET RECORDS - 07/2013
What could be better than an EP from Mungo's Hi Fi and Soom T? How about TWO EP's from Mungo's Hi Fi and Soom T! These stalwarts go together like fish and chips and have been them been successful for putting Glasgow on the reggae map!
The first EP, titled Bong bong is a foray into the world of digital reggae. The much requested title track takes Sister Nancy's Bam bam bang up to date in a smoky fashion. Soom's singing abilities shine through in the ultra modern 31st Century song. I need weed and Boom Shiva are familiar tales about the good ole chronic which appeared on Jahtari's Ode to a carrot . These versions are from a much earlier recording session and have a different edge.
SCRUB008 - MUNGO'S HI-FI FEAT SOOM T - LISTENING BUG EP
SCOTCH BONNET RECORDS - 07/2013
The Listening bug EP is a different kettle of fish, showcasing the Mungo's Hi Fi sound that does not fit straight into the reggae mold, featuring more electronic, bass heavy excursions. The edgy Listening bug is a LFO bass driven flurry with minimal meandering melodies. Jump up quickly is full of eastern mystique before cutting to a hard hitting rap style mixed in with Eek a mouse. Run fool is dark, jittery and hard. War song has a sound that would not be out of place as the next James bond theme tune.
SCOBLP004/SCOBCD004 - MUNGO'S HI-FI - SERIOUS TIME LP
SCOTCH BONNET RECORDS - 06/2014
Soom T features on tracks "Thinking Of An Island" and "31st Century Song" on the 3rd double LP from Glasgow’s international dancehall dub collective, Mungo's Hi-Fi. Blending Studio One style brass with ground-shuddering bass Serious Time has a lot to offer, with Soom T's songs providing an essential contribution to the framework of this incredible piece of modern reggae and bass music history. "31st Century Song" is a classic digital riddim with the multi syllabic and harmonious style we have come to love and crave from Soom T whilst "Thinking Of An Island" provides a more of a heavy dub stomper riddim with a jazzy outer space chorus returning to the unique MC style of Soom T for the verses.
RM004 - SOOM T - VOICE OF DISSENT
RENEGADE MASTERS RECORDS - 04/2013
The first bomb to be dropped by Soom T and Monkey Marc, a sweet grower that pays homage to peasants rights all over the world and the inevitable rise of the bullied poor.
The A side track is a hiphop influenced reggae soiree which leans into the chanting sing-along excursion of early ‘90s pop with a laid back vocal from Soom T injected with intense dramatic inflections. Not a standard piece of reggae by any means, the smooth production by Australia's Combat Wombat Monkey Marc makes for a dance-able chiller providing the driving force needed to hold up Soom T's extreme voicings, as well as making an adequate vehicle for MCs to ride the riddim on the B Side version.

JWP003 - SOOM T AND THE PARADOX MUSICIANS - WE WANT OUT
JUNIOR WIZE - 2012

RTB004 - SOOM T - BRING DOWN THE EMPIRE
REGGAE TOY BOX - 08/2012
The fourth 7" to come from the wonderful Reggae Toy Box label from Japan, Reggae Toy Box has now mysteriously dissapeared, instantly rendering this 7" a collectors essential. Riddim produced by DJ Yama whose Twitter has also dissapeared, and with an excellent B-side from the thankfully still existent Original Kose, who has graced many interesting projects including Helgeland 8-bit Squad's first independently produced and pressed vinyl release. Some of the last copies of this vinyl may be available with a decent dig through the internets crates, otherwise you must check out Discogs to get your hands on this classic!

DBTK007 - SOOM T - CHAOS IN THE SUN
DUBATAK RECORDS - 2012
The powerful single from Dubatak's "Old Feeling Riddim Album". "A Dub style took over Jamaica during the 80s and through the sound systems has spread all over the world, helping to consolidate Reggae as a musical genre acclaimed in both hemispheres. The mixture of electronic drum machines, synthesized bass lines with elements of percussion and vibrating horns section composed 90% of the hits produced in the island during this period. Dubatak Sound System went to Jamaica, US and UK, seeking some of the voices that since foundation until present days are references in the genre, and recreates this recipe with Brazilian spices and influences of urban culture, showing 30 years later that Rub a Dub is stronger than ever."
FUR001 - SOOM T AND HILARY BROOKS - WE ARE THE GLASGOW GIRLS
FOLK U RECORDS - 2012
The first release from experimental label ‘Folk U’ is as special as its introducing label having been taken from an upcoming Stage Musical premiering at the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow October 31st 2012 and Stratford East Theatre, London in 2013. The ‘Glasgow Girls’ musical is a stunning theatrical play depicting the true story of a group of immigrants living in Glasgow who with their Glasgow comrades defied the system by starting a bitter war to save their friend from deportation with her family and change laws which had brought them and their fellow refugees so much trouble. Soom T and Hilary Brooks wrote the song that was chosen to be pressed onto 7" to coincide with the musical.

SCOTCH BONNET RECORDS - 2011
Mungo's second double LP Features two stalawart songs from Soom T, "Bad Bad Boy" and "Soundbwoy Police". Bad Bad Boy is reminiscent of a more old school soul-reggae with Soundboy Police riding a digital riddim addressing a subject as old as reggae itself.

RT-006 - YÖT ‎– YÖT 4
RAHA AND TUNTEET - 2013
In the Spring of 2012 Yöt teamed up with Scottish born vocalist Soom T (Renegade Masters). The product of this recording session? The first track on Yöt 4; the moody epic funk shuffle beat banger 'The Cure'. Rising synths, tough beats and heaps of squelch all pushed up against Soom T's unmistakable flow. A sure shot was born.
As well as vocal and instrumental versions of 'The Cure' Yöt 4 features the grinding slow tempo burner 'Day Won' and hypnotic ballad 'G.I.M.P'. To record the EP the core four piece signed up a fifth member, multi-instrumentalist Markus Pyörälä. It follows up last years 'Bitch Bender', which Mixmag made Album of the Month, and drops on Harmonia and Losonofono.
RM 001 - THE SOURCE - WHAT HAVE I DONE? EP
RENEGADE MASTERS RECORDS - 2011
What can I say? What have I done? This is where it all started for the Renegade Masters with Soom T's very own hand drawn art work. The Source is a collaborative production project which collaborates on single releases with producers by requesting them to build on an existing concept researched by the source to create what the source considers to be sounds emenating directly from the beginning and end of all things in the universe, the Source. Influenced by the sounds created as far back as the early 1980′s for Commodore 64 Game Soundtracks, the Source borrows heavily from this field whilst also embarking into new experimental territory to create powerful, crushing 8 bit flourished, hip hopfully triumphant and basstastically emotional impacting music using melodies and true words to amalgamate into a dagger which aims straight at the jugular of the commercial world.
DUB IRATION - THE LOST BOOKS OF DUB (CHAPTER 1)

This Dub mix CD included The Source - What Have I Done (An-Ten-Nae Remix) amongst its heavy selection of dub.
JTRLP003 - SOOM T - ODE TO A CARROT
JAHTARI - 2010
The legendary monster, Ode to a Carrot speaks for itself. Including songs spanning Soom T's writing years over various classic riddims reworked and originals. The Vinyl itself is almost impossible to get hold of whilst digital is no longer available for purchase, making this even more of a cult classic! Whilst breaking the boundries of the 8-bit style, and somehow flying over the heads of even some of the most enthusiastic chip tune fans, this LP carved a space in digital reggae history by merging the Scottish ganja musings of Soom T with the nostalgic and crunchy sounds of the chip.
